On 27 February 2017, participants of the “Women in Business III” program presented the outcomes of their six-month training and mentorship journey.

From construction, to event planning, financial audits and production of traditional sweets, the variety of businesses represented by women participants as owners or managers was an impressive collection of strategic steps already undertaken and innovation.

Flaka Qerimi, founder of Perla Events, was focused on improving her company procedures and policies. She says “Now I can control the staff time management. Every employee is clear about his / her duties. I can control the cash expenses, and the company materials.”

This program sought to improve the performance of participants in their workplace, and help change the general perception of women and their professional capabilities. The idea for the program was to enhance the role of women in the private sector and society.

The “Women in Business III” program is implemented by RTC Consulting, with support from the World Bank and PPSE.
