To mark the International Women's Day, on 4 March 2021 the Promoting Private Sector Employment organized the virtual panel "Women Challenge". Four women from the tourism and food and natural ingredients sectors talked about how the COVID-19 pandemic changed their business and professional activities and what changes are here to stay.
Aferdita Murati, owner of Kastrioti NP that produces primarily fresh fruit juices and jams, has included online sales channels to her business through the PPSE's partnership with GjirafaMall. Nazlishah Gashi, owner of Fruton LLC that processes fruits and vegetables is upgrading production technology and business services. Rudina Lila, a cultural guide representing GuideKS, found that not everything that is tourism related can be digitized but there is certainly a growing market for that. Leonora Dushi from the Tourism Union of Kosovo is involved with the "Safe Travels" mark certification process for tourism entities in Kosovo, another process supported by PPSE.
