On 16 March 2017, the second in a series of public discussions about regional tourism development in Kosovo was organized in Pejë/Peć, with the participation of public and private sector representatives.

Artan Gashi from the Directorate of Economic Development of the Municipality of Pejë/Peć presented an overview of the resources of the region that make it an attractive destination. Burim Lleshi introduced the role of the Destination Management Organization, which currently counts 54 members from Pejë/Peć, Junik and Deçan/Dečan. Hysen Sogojeva from the Ministry of Trade and Industry highlighted the importance of inputs and information collected through meetings like to feed the central level efforts for a national tourism strategy.
