Organic certification in Kosovo and the related procedures and requirements were the focus of a workshop held on 30 May 2017 in Prishtinë/Priština with a group of non-wood forest product companies, organized by ORGANIKA association.  

“PPSE collaborates with ORGANIKA with regards to services it provides to the members. Supporting members means competitiveness of businesses is increased thus increasing the value of products, sales, and in the end, employment,” said Besnik Cecelia, market sector facilitator with PPSE.

The purpose of the workshop was to acquaint current and potential organic operators with the details on inspection and its related key requirements, and with the organic certification process.

The workshop is part of the project “Promoting Organic Certification” that is supported by PPSE.
