On 7 February 2017, Kosovo’s Minister of Trade and Industry launched the Women’s Online Business Directory, the first platform that is specifically designed to promote and increase visibility of women owned businesses.

“This platform will ensure that women business owners are better informed about economic development and business opportunities. Having information at the right time is one of the best resources for women in business nowadays,” said Minister Bajrami at the event.

By increasing the visibility of women’s businesses, their networking and engagement, the platform also highlights their contribution to the Kosovo economy thus changing the perception in general public of women’s role in the society.

The platform is developed by RedMill Agency, another woman-owned business, with support from PPSE-Swisscontact, SDC and Ministry of Trade and Industry.
