On 28 March 2017, a group of business organizations from various sectors in Kosovo kicked off a three-day training on strategies and tools that will help them become more effective.
The first day of the training contained presentations on enhancing service portfolio development and devising improved membership strategies. The facilitator encouraged group work and discussion between participants about how to improve their membership rates, and what can make their services more creative and attractive.
Jehona Bejtullahu Lluka from the Business Consultants Council (BCC) of Kosovo said “Currently, the key challenge for our organization is the accreditation of consulting as a profession.” Other participants emphasized how businesses often lack the knowledge that chambers and business membership organizations (BMOs) can play a key role in advocacy and lobbying efforts.
The two following days of the training will focus on one-to-one coaching with organizations from the tourism and food processing BMOs, and the BCC. The training is organized and supported by PPSE.
