To support farmers identify new market segments through producing different varieities of raspberries, PPSE in collaboration with the association “Mjedra e Kosovës” facilitated a mission of Prof. Pawel Krawiec, a Polish expert on raspberry production.

During his assignment in Kosovo, Krawiec visited raspberry producers in several regions in Kosovo to better understand the situation in their plantations, the challenges and bottlenecks farmers are faced with, and help them identify alternative sale channels.

On 21 June 2018, Krawiec held a one-day workshop with some forty representatives of the raspberry farms in Kosovo. At the workshop, participants shared more insights from their farms, and explored current trends and dynamics in the European and world markets.
