With the purpose of increasing the vegetable production volume and promoting contracting between farmers and producers, PPSE project signed partnership agreements with four companies in Kosovo.

Apart from contract farming, these agreements also facilitate production that is suitable for processing, and commercialize cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants. Eurotac and Aktiva companies will offer aggregation services and planting of industrial and hybrid industrial varieties of gherkins, onions and cabbage. Agrofarma will introduce demo-plots for other farmers to see the benefits of industrial varieties. The fourth partner, Era shpk., will deal with the cultivation of mentha piperita (peppermint) and will involve 20 new farmers in its cultivation.
