On 23 – 25 March 2021, a group of some twenty tourism agencies and operators from Albania are visiting some of the key attractions in Kosovo as part of a familiarization trip organized by Kosovo Tourism Union (KTU).
The purpose of this activity is to share first-hand experience and knowledge of some of Kosovo's key tourism attractions: natural, historical, and cityscapes, and establish business partnerships between operators from both countries. "This activity is part of our collaboration with counterparts in Albania. Apart from presenting our offer, an important part of this activity is to establish better collaboration between agencies – tourism needs collaboration," said Baki Hoti, President of KTU.
Natural attractions of Peja region, the history of Prekaz, monuments around Prishtina, the Bear Sanctuary, the accommodation landscape in Gjilan and the attractions of Brezovica and Prizren are the key items in the three-day agenda, which follows closely all Safe Travel protocols.
The trip is supported by the Promoting Private Sector Employment project through its collaboration with KTU.
