On the International Day of Rural Women – 15 October – PPSE recognizes and honors the role and contribution of rural women in their household economy and in developing their communities.

 To mark this internationally observed day, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation project Promoting Private Sector Employment in Kosovo collaborated with the local media to promote role models from our partners in the private sector. These are women business owners, managers, or farmers, who through their work improve the livelihoods of their communities and contribute to the economic development of the country.

 Emphasizing the increasing role and presence of women farmers in the medicinal aromatic plants' organic cultivation and processing, and the support by PPSE to this group throughout 2020, a video produced for this occasion shares their stories.
